The massage and movement loop
Bodywork changes tissue. Practice changes the default. You want both.

A good session can restore glide to a rib, quiet a protective spasm, and give a joint 20 minutes of honest range it has not had in months. That window is the most valuable part of the hour — and the most often wasted. If you walk out and sit in the same collapsed shape that built the density, the tissue will restock the shelf.
The loop is simple. Hands-on work creates options. Movement practice chooses an option often enough that it becomes the default. The next session then starts from a different baseline, and we can go deeper or elsewhere instead of re-releasing the same line.
This is why the programs in Muscleworks are written the way a treatment plan is written: a few positions, done well, on a schedule, with a way to notice if they are working. It is not a random library of 'mobility.' It is the other half of the table.
If you are in Guided, the check-in is how we close the loop between sessions. Pain, sleep, load, and the note you write tell me whether last week's input landed or whether we need to regress. Foundation members use the same drills; they just steer themselves with the screen and the pattern atlas.
